So my first idea was to put all my medium posts into word cloud

And I picked out some colors that I liked and picked a semi fancy font. It kind of shows the way I write for this class. Its a mix of formal writing, a little bit of technical terms, and some of my causal flare. I chose the shape because it felt fitting for this class.

That one was me getting acquainted with word cloud, so I thought about what else I could put in, and after trying out putting some stories I had written in the past (and not having enough commonalty in them to really have any personality to it) I decided to put the worst fan fic on the internet into it, ‘My Immortal’

I chose it because its awful and it makes me laugh. If you haven't read it its a super emo harry potter fan fiction about a teen girl who is a goth vampire but also a student at Hogwarts.

I picked the castle template and a red and black color scheme, and boom, here it is. Its interesting that Draco's name is so prominent (shes dating him). Its really all in the details here, like how there is almost nothing related to magic in any major place, in spite of it being a harry potter fan fiction. You can also see her most common misspellings, like Loopin (insted of Lupin), Snap (insteade of Snape), koz (because), fuk (fuck), her signature fangz instead of thanks (because shes a vampire, get it?). The fact that those are so common and consistent that they can be seen here, really brings up the question of it this fan fic was real or not. Was this written in earnest by some preteen girl, or was it bad on purpose written by a troll to make fun of the common tropes in bad fan fiction of the time? The reason I enjoy it as much as I do, is because I’m fairly sure it was a joke (I wouldn’t feel great about taking the piss out of someones fan fiction that they worked really hard on and cared about)
