A Working Mom and The Pandemic

How are you working mom? masih waras atau sudah jenuh dan butuh staycation? masih WFH atau sudah WFO? gimana perasaannya selama WFH?

For me, WFH is never been easy karenaaa apaa, karenaa banyak iklannya :)). Tetapi alhamdulillah 8 bulan terlewati dengan cukup baik walaupun banyak drama yang terjadi. Bagi waktu antara kerjaan, nyuapin anak, mandiin anak, nemenin sekolah online dsb.

Looh Ayahnya kemana? emang engga bantu jagain? ada kok, WFH juga, ikut ngurusin anak juga, cuman ya tetep aja namanya anak apalagi masih kecil, walau deket sama uti atau ayah nya kalau lagi rungsing atau rewel ya teteup yang dicari ibu nya, betul begitu buibu? :D.

Saya selalu kasih pengertian walau ibu nya dirumah tetapi tetep harus kerja, kadang anak saya mau ngerti kadang engga ya namanya juga anak-anak, the only thing he knows, as long as my mom at home it means that she is not going to work, she is free and she will be around me along day.

yang bikin kepala cenut-cenut itu ketika mendekati waktu zoom meeting tiba-tiba si kecil nangis atau tiba-tiba si kecil merengek minta bikin susu karena ngantuk dan minta dikelonin, wkwkwkwk i believe your head is like kayak mau pecah. i feel you mom, *puk puk*.

Ketika memasuki masa #newnormal dan kantor saya memberlakukan WFO on demand, ada sedikit kelegaan di hati saya, its like “horeee gue bisa ngantor atau horeee gue bisa keluar rumah” hahaha. Buat saya kantor jadi semacam tempat “kabur” sementara dari semua kejenuhan dan keribetan WFH. Bukan berarti saya engga mau ngurus anak, tapi lebih kepada, i need time to be really focusing on my work, doing my duty as employee of a company that paid me.

So to all working moms, i salute and respect you, keep healthy, keep strong, keep happy, go get your self a pair of new shoes or new bag or slices of cheese cake or a large size of chatime or a lawless burger, or maybe a new gadget :D, coz you deserve it :)
